Terriers Solar Farm, located to the northwest of Thaxted, was approved by the Uttlesford District Council in early 2020.

Engie Fabricom has been appointed as the main construction contractor for the project. They will have the day to day responsibility for the construction of the project and will manage a collection of sub-contractors to undertake the work.
